Overview:

The Vango Galli CC II Drive Away awning is one of the largest models available for a camper van, offering great versatility, convenience, and external space to the camper van. Boasting full standing height throughout, the shelter is a three-zone design, with a large enclosed porch, a large living space, which can have optional inner tents added to create sleeping quarters, and a connecting panel, which is extremely simple to connect to the side of the van where the habitation door resides.

The Galli is available across several models, the CC version stands for “Closed Canopy”, which relates to the front extension area of the product, which can be fully sealed from the elements, to create a more comfortable camping space. Further to this, the model has been upgraded with a new 150 Denier polyester fabric for the coming camping season. The shelter has an intelligent design, sitting parallel to the camper van to maximise living space and the layout of a campsite pitch.  With multiple entry points, great ventilation throughout to provide optimal airflow, and large Diamond Clear PVC windows to allow great views of the surrounding scenery, the Galli CC II is packed full of great Vango features, offering good value for money.

Ideal For: Families or larger groups wanting plenty of living space, comfort, and the ability to add either a two or four-berth inner to the living space. The Galli CC will transform the comfort of the camper van, complete with a drive-away design, allowing the van to be taken offsite for the day, whilst the Galli CC remains free-standing at the campsite.

• Closed Canopy: Providing greater protection from the elements, increased privacy, and versatility to different weather climates. The NEW CC version allows the front canopy to be more versatile than the older style of Galli, which had an open porch area to the front.
• Upgraded Fabric: The NEW CC version offers an upgraded 150 Denier Polyester fabric (previously 70 Denier), providing greater durability and longevity of fabric. The new 150 Denier fabric still retains great lightweight properties, making it the perfect fabric for a touring awning.
• Parallel Format: Ideal for those wanting to maximise the space a campsite pitch has to offer, the parallel design has the awning sitting side-by-side with the van, optimising the space perfectly to create a more comfortable camping space.
• Airbeam Design: The inflatable nature of the shelter allows it to be pitched with greater ease, set down quicker, and also provides great stability in the structure. With 10cm beams, which are singularly inflated, the Galli can be pitched within 15 – 20 minutes.
• Drive Away Design: Easily detach the connecting panel from the camper van, and roll away the connecting panel, allowing use of the vehicle without having to dismantle the entire awning each time. Mark the ground where the tyres were before detaching, so it is easier to reattach the connecting panel upon return.
• Sewn-In Groundsheet: Helps to create a comfortable camping space by eliminating draughts, and bugs, and creating a safe space from the elements. The Galli does have drop-down doors to the side of the shelter, where the groundsheet is not sewn into the flysheet. At the drop-down door, there is a small gap between the flysheet and groundsheet, which can be toggled closed. The front door is a full D-Door with a step over, and fully sealed groundsheet.
• Mesh Ventilation Door: Creates airflow to help reduce condensation and create a breeze on warmer days, where it may be very warm inside the drive away shelter.
• Optional Bedrooms: A two-berth inner tent (BR001) and a four-berth inner tent (BR005) allow sleeping spaces to be added to the Galli’s living space. These are available for separate purchase or as part of our bundle deals.
• Updated Skytrack II: Added Skytrack to the main air tube for optional accessories.

Methods of Attachment

1. Pre Attached Kador Rail 6mm – slides straight into a rail, or wind out awning. (Fiamma Requires a 4mm Drive Away Kit). Purchase a drive-away kit for the ability to be able to drive off-site.
2. Velcro Straps – easily attach to roof bars should the van have these.
3. Sleeve for Pole and Clamp Kit to allow for older styles of van which have a gutter fitted to the side of the van.
4. 8M Storm Straps – can be thrown over the vehicle and pegged down the other side.
