The tent features Powerlite Alloy poles, ensuring the weight is kept to a minimum (1.88kg), whilst also maximising the strength of the structure.  Adopting the tunnel design, the Apex offers the greatest amount of internal sleeping and storage space, and the inner and flysheet pitch together making it quick and easy to set up and set down, which is one of the reasons it is highly recommended by the Duke of Edinburgh scheme as a recommended kit, with a pitching time of just five minutes.

Furthermore, the Vango brand has introduced a more sustainable approach to manufacturing, with an Eco Protex 70 Denier polyester shell, which is crafted using single-use plastics, which have been recycled.
