Overview:

The Vango Kela Pro Tall is part of Vango’s proud history of designing and creating fantastic drive-away awnings, upgraded for the new camping season to offer a NEW Sentinel Eco Pro fabric, encompassing the brilliant 420 Denier polyester fabric, but utilising 206 plastic bottles to reduce the impact of manufacturing the product, and reduce the plastic wastage in the production process. The strongest quick-drying fabric available in Double Ripstop polyester, without having huge weight impacts, with an overall weight of 19.9kg, still allowing the Kela Pro to be portable for touring campers. 

Tall Height: the Kela Pro comes in three available heights, this version being the Tall height designed to fit motorhomes or camper vans with a rail or overall height between 255 – 295cm. The connecting panel on the tall goes much higher than the Mid or Low versions, allowing it to be connected to taller camper vans, perfect for fitting onto a Fiamma or an Omnistor rail, via the 6mm pre-attached Kador rail.

The Airbeam design allows for the Kela to be pitched in approximately 10 minutes, making it perfect for motorhome touring, due to the easy nature of fitting the awning to your van, and then inflating the beams. Further to this, the inflatable design also aids in packing away, for a quicker get-away from the campsite.

Ideal For: Couples with pets, or smaller families needing a compact, yet luxurious motorhome shelter, capable of use between Spring to late Autumn.

• Drive Away: The awning also has a “free-standing”, drive-away design, allowing the vehicle to be removed and taken off-site for the day. Simply unwind the rail, and use a fixing kit, which is easily removed from the 6mm Kador rail to separate the Kela Pro from the motorhome.
• Sewn-in Groundsheet: The living space has a fully sewn-in groundsheet for keeping the elements and bugs away from the internal space of the van.

Methods of Attachment

1. (Preferred for Motorhomes) Pre Attached Kador Rail 6mm – slides straight into a rail, or wind out awning. (Fiamma Requires a 4mm Drive Away Kit). Purchase a drive-away kit for the ability to be able to drive off-site.
2. Velcro Straps – easily attach to roof bars should the van have these.
3. Sleeve for Pole and Clamp Kit to allow for older styles of camper van, which have a gutter fitted to the side of the van.
4. 8M Storm Straps – can be thrown over the vehicle and pegged down the other side.
